Dolceacqua & Rocchetta Nervina

Option 1 — Getting Warmed Up

Route: Bordighera → Dolceacqua → Rocchetta Nervina → Bordighera

60 km 380 m D+ ~3.5 h

Climb the scenic Nervia Valley through olive groves and Rossese vineyards. Explore the medieval bridge & Doria Castle in Dolceacqua, then the natural pools of Rocchetta Nervina before coastal views back to base.

Monaco & La Turbie

Option 2 — Coastal & Mountain Views

Route: Bordighera → Menton → Roquebrune-Cap-Martin → La Turbie → Cap d'Ail → Monaco → Bordighera

78 km 650 m D+ ~4 h

Cross into the French Riviera and climb to Roquebrune and La Turbie for sweeping views. Descend to Cap d'Ail and enter Monaco via sections of the F1 route; return along the dramatic coast.

Ponente cycle path and Alassio

Option 3 — Seaside Experience

Route: Bordighera → Ospedaletti → Sanremo → Imperia → Diano Marina → Cervo → Capo Mimosa → Capo Mele → Alassio → Bordighera

110 km 750 m D+ ~5.5 h

Roll the Ponente Riviera cycle path through panoramic tunnels and seaside villages to Imperia, crest Capo Mimosa & Capo Mele, and enjoy Alassio before the return.

Nice & Col d'Èze

Option 4 — France Bound

Route: Bordighera → Menton → Monaco → Nice → Col d'Èze → La Turbie → Menton → Ventimiglia → Bordighera

95 km 700 m D+ ~5 h

Ride to Nice, ascend the iconic Col d'Èze for panoramic views, pass La Turbie's Trophée des Alpes, then cruise the coast back to Italy.

Triora & Colle Langan

Option 5 — Adventure Ready

Route: Bordighera → Ospedaletti → Arma di Taggia → Triora → Molini di Triora → Colle Langan → Pigna → Bordighera

115 km 1,900 m D+ ~5.5 h

Head inland to Triora, Italy’s “Village of Witches.” Climb Colle Langan for Ligurian Alps vistas, descend to the thermal village of Pigna, and return via the coast.

Cipressa & Poggio

Option 6 — Classic Climbs

Route: Bordighera → Ospedaletti → San Lorenzo al Mare → Cipressa → Arma di Taggia → Poggio → Bordighera

85 km 600 m D+ ~4.5 h

Relive the Milan–Sanremo finale with the Cipressa and Poggio climbs, then spin the peaceful seafront cycle path home.

Apricale, Bajardo & Perinaldo

Option 7 — Worth the Wait

Route: Bordighera → Dolceacqua → Isolabona → Apricale → Bajardo → Perinaldo → Bordighera

95 km 1,400 m D+ ~4.75 h

Visit medieval villages, crest to Bajardo for mountain panoramas, then descend via Perinaldo to close the week in style.
